Bendigo is gearing up for some new and exciting developments in cycling as the Bendigo region is quickly becoming recognised as Australia’s regional cycling capital.
Brought to you by the City of Greater Bendigo in partnership with Bike Bendigo, Bendigo Inventor Awards and the Bendigo Business Council, an Australian-first Cycling Innovation festival has been developed to showcase the latest in cycling. The Cycling Innovation Showcase headlines the program of events where innovators and leaders in cycling from across Australia will showcase their latest innovations and designs.

Bendigo International Bike Film Festival
When: Thursday 24 November, 6pm-9.30pm
Where: Old Church on the Hill, 36 Russell Street, Quarry Hill

Cycling Innovation Showcase
When: Friday 25 November
Where: Bendigo Town Hall
This showcase is the first of its kind in Australia providing an opportunity for innovators to show their work and for practitioners, people who ride, people who want to ride, investors, government, community organisations and anyone interested in cycling in any way to connect and network in Bendigo, Australia’s regional cycling capital.
Open Streets Bendigo
When: Saturday 26 November
Where: Bendigo Town Hall, the Bendigo CBD and the O'Keefe Rail Trail
An event where shared paths and creek trails will be linked, temporary separated bicycle paths will be set up providing people of all ages with a safe way to cycle into the CBD to eat, shop and relax. Also visit displays at the Open Streets Hub next to the Bendigo Town Hall, test ride e-bikes, cargobikes and folding bikes, win prizes and take advantage of a shuttle service that can take you and your bike to and from the O'Keefe Rail Trail.
